Character’s Name: Audey Thompson
Character’s Appearance: Usually typical fare for a college dude. Audey likes jeans and tee shirts. He can also be seen pretty often with a long sleeve button down shirt, usually with the tee underneath, so if it gets warm he can stuff the long sleeve shirt in his backpack.
He’s about 6 feet tall give or take an inch, built lanky, but appears fit, not gangly or awkward. His hair is a darkish auburn brown, cut short, though the top and front a longer. It’s stark raving straight and fairly fine, so even though he generally combs it back, the bangs fall into his face. His eyes are dark bluish grey
Items the Military Specifically Confiscated from this Character: Nothing. Audey IS military.
What Universe This Character is From: Current Universe. Audey is a military officer acting in the capacity of a minder on Oaklyn College campus.
General History: Audey was born in Macon Georgia. Grew up a fairly normal life. His father is a mechanic, his mother a teacher. They were not poor, but then never had much. Audey learned some basic mechanics from his father building cars and go-carts and so on in the summers like all boys should. From his mother though, he got a sharp wit and an interest in learning.
During Audey’s last two years of high school, Audey’s father suffered through a serious illness, He survived, but due to the expenses there was no money left for Audey’s college. Helping to deal with family matters had brought Audey’s grades down enough to eliminate any chance of a real scholarship, so Audey chose to join the army so that he could get on the job training as well as guaranteed college funds once he was out. When he was offered the chance to post at Oaklyn College as a minder, and also keep credit for whatever classes he attended, Audey jumped at the opportunity.
Anything else you think the other players need to know? Audey is ostensibly studying with the intent to go into advanced law enforcement. He has a sidearm and permits to carry it on campus (provided by the military of course). He is listed as the Assistant RA on his floor of the dorm building where he resides, but he doesn’t usually have to do anything in that regard. He’s primarily Edward’s minder because of Edward’s apparent hardheadedness making his ‘treatment’ difficult at best. But he is also supposed to keep his eyes on things going on in general around campus. Studying Law enforcement is a good way to get away with that.
A writing sample (given to provide a bit of an insight into the mind of the NPC: Audey watched Edward trot across the residence square from the window. That girl Winry was down there too, waiting for him it looked like. A smile crossed his face and a chuckle rumbled in Audey’s chest. Looked like she was waiting to argue with him more than anything, as she stood with her arms akimbo and berated him for quite some time. Edward held his hands up defensively. It looked like he was trying to placate her, but she was having none of it. The blond man would occasionally step back, and the girl would take up the slack immediately stepping in, pointing her finger. Audey could almost see the fire in her eyes as she pounded her index finger into her friend’s chest to drive a point home.
“Now, that’s odd…” Audey breathed. Suddenly the fight was over. Edward dropped his hands and glanced over his shoulder, Winry following his gaze. Then he watched as Edward took her by the hand and pulled her across the commons at a near run. “Now what’s that little guy up to.” Audey grabbed his shoes and headed out as well. He was going to have to follow them to find out.
